Download the Planet Patrol app and start to record the litter you pick, no matter which litter picking activity you are taking part in. The data you record will help Planet Patrol lobby industry and local councils to reduce the litter on our streets.

THE GREAT BRITISH BEACH CLEAN

The Marine Conservation Society runs a large beach clean annually. This was run in September last year but may be cancelled in 2021 owing to Covid. See their website for other similar events.

TAKE PART IN A LITTER PICK

Join a Planet Patrol litter pick in your local area. Look at their Facebook page to see when a litter pick is taking place near you.

TAKE PART IN THE GREAT NURDLE HUNT

If you can get to a beach in autumn, think about taking part in the Great Nurdle Hunt. This takes place every year at the same time (Covid permitting). You can also hunt and record nurdles on beaches throughout the year and log this on their website.

Organise a beach clean near you and register this on the beachclean.org website to encourage others to join in. You can also register this on the Marine Conservation Society website too (see next tab).
